Paul Klaas

Arbitrator, Maitland Chambers

Paul Klaas is dual-qualified as a member of the Minnesota (US) bar and as a barrister of England and Wales, with chambers in Minneapolis and at Maitland Chambers, Lincoln’s Inn, London.  Paul is a Chartered Arbitrator, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators, and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.  He has taught the international commercial arbitration courses at the Harvard Law School and the University of Minnesota Law School.  Over the past 40 years, Paul has handled hundreds of commercial arbitrations as counsel and arbitrator, and he is on the panels of many arbitral institutions around the world, including the BVIIAC.
